Kassy Skoretz

Andrea Moriarity
Dr. Kassy Skoretz (they/them) is a director and performer with 20 years of experience. Their dissertation work is in directing as production of knowledge in post-combat reintegration plays. Their current work includes cultures of care in theatre and they love bringing together an excellent team of people to do cool things. Recent credits include Working: The Musical, Ride the Cyclone, Eurydice, Men on Boats, and Friends and Lovers. In addition to teaching Theatre and English at ARCC, they direct and perform in the Twin Cities and enjoy weaving and reading with their two cats.
Peter received his B.A. in Theatre Art at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and completed graduate work in technical theatre at NDSU in Fargo, ND. He is an active member of U.S.I.T.T. at the local and national levels and also has worked with 20/20 Theatrical installing stage equipment and rigging for SECOA. Besides designing scenery and lighting for most Anoka-Ramsey productions since 2006, he teaches stagecraft (THTR 2211) and frequently does freelance work with Yellow Tree Theatre, Lyric Arts Theatre, the Season's Dinner Theatre and others.
Andrea is a theatrical wig maker, makeup artist, designer and instructor and is Head of Wigs, Hair & Makeup at Children's Theatre Company. She has been the Stage Makeup instructor at ARCC since 2008 and also teaches at Inver Hills CC and the University of MN. Locally, she has worked at the Guthrie Theater, Minnesota Opera, Penumbra Theatre, Jungle Theater, Park Square, Theater Latte Da, History Theatre, Pillsbury House Theatre, Nautilus Music Theater, Theatre in the Round, Plymouth Playhouse and Stages Theatre Company.Regionally she has worked at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Opera, and Eastman Opera, NY. Ms. Moriarity holds an M.F.A. in Theatre Design and Production from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music.

Blayn received his M.F.A. from The National Theatre Conservatory. He has worked as an actor in many Twin Cities and regional theatres including Frank Theatre, Jungle Theatre, Children’s Theatre, Guthrie Theatre, History Theatre, and Pillsbury House Theatre. Blayn has been a teaching artist for the Guthrie Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Illusion Theatre, and Young Audiences of Minnesota as well as a faculty member of The Blake School. Blayn recently retired from teaching and directing at ARCC.
Lisa received her BA in Drama from Tufts University in Massachusetts and her MFA in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver. Other theatres Lisa has worked for include the Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro, Park Square Theatre in St Paul and the Denver Center Theatre Company. Lisa is currently a theatre faculty member at Inver Hills Community College.
Scott completed his theatre graduate training at New York University and the University of Minnesota. He retired from teaching and directing at ARCC several years ago but recently returned to direct his 40th production here. Recent ARCC highlights include his play Flavio Betrayed: A Commedia and a student/alumni production of Guys and Dolls to mark the college's 50th anniversary. He is proud to be a former ARCC theatre student who first performed here during the Carter administration. Scott serves as a Resaident Director for the Lyric Arts Company of Anoka where he has directed over 25 productions.
